DEVASTATING LOSS: The Two Chinese Teens Killed In San Francisco Plane Crash Were Close Friends On Their Way To Summer Exchange Program To Learn English

It was no surprise that the two girls were sitting together — they had been joined at the hip for four years.
The two passengers killed in the Asiana Airlines crash were Chinese students seated near the rear of the plane who were set to attend a summer exchange program.
Ye Mengyuan, a talented 17-year-old gymnast, and 16-year-old Wang Linjia, a physics marvel, hailed from China’s eastern Zhejiang province and were found on the tarmac among the scorched wreckage of the Boeing 777...
