“To Pay Price Would Be To Buy A Heifer Off The Market Stall"

Just like Lakunle was stressing against Sidi's bride price in this book by Prof. Wole Soyinka: Lion and The Jewel, that paying Sidi's bride price will be likened to buying a heifer off market stall. He was regarded as the lion in that unique book because of his Single-mindedness when it comes to personal ideologies about life.
At Babcock University, students were made to take note that by next session, the amount they will be paying for their school fees will take this shape:

1) Accounting- N1.5million
2) Nursing- N1million
3) Law- N2million
4) Medicine- N3million
5) Others- N860,000

Now,the question I was moved to ask is,If a student continues to pay this big sum of money consistently till graduation, what do you think will be his/her overriding target in his work place in time to come? Will it be bent making money not minding whose Ox is gored or for the good of the society?
Which way Nigeria...Our one and only country?
