Massive Out Of Control Ship About To Crash Onto Shore

An enormous cargo ship is expected to smash into the south western coast of France in the next 48 hours.
Unless a very dangerous, last ditch operation on the high seas succeeds, the ship will run aground on the sandy coast between Monday night and Tuesday night.

The Vice-Admiral Emmanuel De Oliveira of France's Atlantic Maritime Prefecture said "We will do everything within our power to succeed".

Like something out of a Hollywood movie, the rescue mission involves stormy weather, helicopter rescues and a runaway ship heading for a national park and a scenic seaside resort.

The saga began on January 26th when the Modern Express, a 163-metre Panamanian flagged freighter travelling from Gabon to the French port of Le Havre began listing severely to one side.
