Is North West The Best Celebrity Baby Name Ever?

The US gossip site TMZ says it has confirmed the name of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s newborn baby girl.

After months of speculation (mainly focused on whether the couple would stick with Kardashian family tradition of giving every child a name beginning with a K), the site said it had seen the child’s birth certificate, which confirmed the happy couple had gone for the name North.

Baby North West, if that is her real name, continues a long lineage of celebrity offspring with leftfield names: from Zowie Bowie to Moon Unit Zappa, Brooklyn Beckham (named after where Victoria was when she found out she was pregnant) to Kal-El Cage (Nicolas Cage’s son, named after Superman) to Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple Martin (just because it sounded “sweet”).

Well, for me the name sounds interesting; though we wait on tenterhooks for confirmation of Baby West’s full name...
